Delete Your Data

Introduction

This page explains how you can request the deletion of your personal data from Cutform. It is provided in compliance with the platform requirements of the third-party services we integrate with, including Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Google (YouTube API Services), and LinkedIn, as well as applicable data protection laws such as the GDPR and CCPA.

Cutform is an AI-powered podcast retention editing platform that also publishes clips to your connected social media accounts on your behalf. When you use our service, we store certain data associated with your account — including data received from connected third-party platforms — to provide and improve the experience.

What Data We Store

Cutform may store the following categories of data associated with your account:

  • Account information, Your name and email address
  • Uploaded podcast files, Audio and video files you upload for processing
  • Generated clips, AI-edited clips created from your content
  • Usage and analytics data, How you interact with our service
  • Connected social account data, OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens, and basic profile/channel/page identifiers from any social accounts you choose to connect (LinkedIn, YouTube/Google, Facebook Pages, Instagram Business), along with metadata about posts published through Cutform

How to Request Data Deletion

To request deletion of all data associated with your account, follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request"
  2. Include the email address associated with your Cutform account in the body of the email
  3. We will confirm receipt of your request within 48 hours
  4. Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of your request

What Gets Deleted

Upon processing your deletion request, we will permanently remove:

  • Your account information (name, email)
  • All uploaded podcast audio and video files
  • All AI-generated clips and edited content
  • Your usage data and activity history
  • OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens for any connected social accounts (LinkedIn, YouTube/Google, Facebook, Instagram), along with cached profile, channel, page, and post metadata received from those platforms

All data associated with your account will be completely and irreversibly removed from our systems. When you confirm your request, we will also include a unique confirmation/reference number in our acknowledgement email that you can use to track the status of your deletion.

What We May Retain

After deletion, we may retain only:

  • Anonymized analytics data, Aggregated, non-personally identifiable data that cannot be linked back to you
  • Legal records, Information we are legally required to retain (such as transaction records for tax purposes)

None of the retained data can be used to identify you personally.

Confirmation

Once your data has been deleted, you will receive an email confirmation at the address you provided in your request. This confirmation will include the date of deletion and a summary of the data that was removed.

Revoking Access from the Platform

In addition to requesting deletion from Cutform, you can revoke Cutform's access to any connected account directly from the platform itself. Doing so will immediately prevent Cutform from accessing that account; we will then delete the associated tokens and cached data from our active systems within 30 days.
